Mrs Carissa Klokow was employed at St Paulus Primary School from 2006 until 2009 on a full-time contract.

She then went into private lessons working for herself from 2010 until 2015 on our school premises.

She also took groups of Grade 4’s from 2014 until 2015 where she helped children to catch up with Afrikaans from an additional language to a home language.
I was the Head of Department for Mrs Klokow and I got to know her on a
professional and personal level.

I hold Mrs Klokow in the highest regards as she is a brilliant remedial teacher, extremely professional and highly organised. She works
with passion and creativity. If she feels one thing does not work for a child she will try another approach even to the point where she will design something herself which she thinks may help. Not only does she understand that a child that needs remedial intervention needs very clear instructions, clear understanding of the curriculum but what is most important is the emotional intervention. Without building the confidence of the child, you will not get anywhere. She shows empathy with each and every child on a personal level and therefor she achieves wonderful results.
Mrs Klokow will always execute a task assigned to her with her meticulous attention to detail and her pride in her professionalism ensures that her work is of the highest standards.
It is with the greatest of confidence that I would recommend Mrs Klokow to any position or venture she would like to apply for.
